Confetti Quilt Finished
In June 2013, I took a class for this quilt from Augusta Cole at the Goldsboro, NC Quilt Guild with friends C & S.
They finished theirs and had them quilted by the end of the year.
Mine had been resting in a box until I need a project to work on at our March Bee. I had planned to make a small version and use it as a table cloth.
But ---- I had more blocks made than I remembered so I made the full size version.
The borders were difficult as the directions left a lot to be desired in that area.
The quilting
The backing
But it is done and the binding is finished. It is 84 by 92"

Pink Morning
This Rugosa rose caught my eye as I was fixing coffee this morning. I planted it in 1997 when we moved back to Wendell. Over the years it has become a part of the shrubbery. Some years it has very few blooms but I like the way it climbs up and wraps itself around the old bird feeder.
