The day lilies by the side door are so pretty right now.
Thsy brighten up any morning,
This is the finished bug jar quilt that I made in May. It is for a young boy who has recently moved into a new home. My friend S also made a bug jar quilt for his twin brother. In addition, she made quilts for their two older brothers. Today we presented them to their mother. She was so happy to receive them.
After that S and I did a little shopping at one of our favorite quilt shops, Thistlebee in Goldsboro. Thistlebee carries a wonderful selection of reproduction fabrics.
We enjoyed lunch together before I headed back to Wendell.
These young folks took me to a fun and festive dinner at Chuy's in Raleigh.
Will celebrate with the rest of the family tomorrow night with a dinner and games party!

Have finished the main blocks for RRCB and am working on string triangles.
Love your quilt with the white crosses. But I love all your quilts.

Have some questions about my pear. Will hold until I see you.
