New Projects

It's not as though I don't have any number of projects in the works but I just had to start something new to sew on for sewing get together days.

I've never made a churn dash block and I also want to make a blue and white quilt so.....

The little snowball blocks are just the results of a box overflowing with two inch squares.

Have no idea where they will end up.

An interesting note - while waiting for our table at Cheesecake factory for Emily's birthday dinner Friday evening - Shelly and I discovered we have the same eyeglasses prescription.  She has on my glasses and

I have on hers.

Scrappy Squares Sewn Together

With all the cold weather - I sewed these blocks fairly quickly.  

It took two days to sew them into rows!

And then I took two more days to sew them into a top.  It is about 72 x 88".  I picked out a backing but the binding choice is up in the air.
