On Thursday I finished sewing these blocks together for a Patriotic Donation Quilt.
I had these choices for an inner border.
The blue and white won out over the duller red, white and blue dots.
Even though I had already planned to use the blue print as an outer border, I thought I'd see if I liked red better. Not this one.
This is better, IMHO that is.
But I still like the blue better!
This is a great block that sews up so quickly.
I had this 3 yard piece of flannel that will suffice for the back and these choices for the binding.
I cut the blue solid and sewed it together. Now it is ready for quilting.
This kept me entertained while the new water filter was being installed on Friday.

love the center block fabric. Have just cut fabrics for my patriotic quilt and using this block. Like your borders.
Trying to decide on baby quilt for Margy (dresden plate) daughters baby due in Sept. Not easy.
Like the 16 patches.
