Quilting Progress Report - Early June

When I finished the binding on my last quilt I was surprised to find that I had no more ready to do.
The remedy for that is shown above.  Not that I have sewn on any of them yet. Need another riveting or at least interesting audiobook or 3.

Getting to the point of sewing the rows together.  Then it will be decision time for the borders.

I picked up this quilt from Carole this past Saturday.  I cannot remember what the author of the original pattern that I got either from a magazine or a book that I had purchased.  Carole called it So many HST's for the purpose of her book keeping. I think I will name it Mucho Triangles.
Carole is a teacher in addition to having a quilting business called Running Stitches.  With school closed she has had more time to devote to her quilting.
I looked back and I began making blocks for this quilt back in 2013.
Now for trimming and a binding - maybe get this finished this year.
I loved making this quilt and glad to have it almost ready for use.

Perhaps I should see to that today!

Whole Lot of Binding Goin' On

Well between yesterday and today - I have done a lot of sewing!

I quilted the inner border on Dawn's Early Light (90 x 90") and made and sewed on red batik binding ( I may regret using the batik when I have to hand sew).

Then I made and sewed a red Stonehenge binding on the 90 X 90" NoName Nine Patch.  I really am bad at names.

Then, since I found the lavender binding for the En Provence I sewed that on too.
 Also a big quilt  - 87x87 inches.

And since this quilt has been resting on my sewing machine case for way too long - I found enough black binding leftover from other projects get it sewn on too.  I remember quilting this last year before I did Ben and Daniel's quilt.  It is 75 by 87".

That is going to be soo much hand sewing!  I need help!
The gal who quilted a couple of quilts for me charges 0.18 per linear inch to hand sew bindings.
At that rate it would be about $250.

For now I'll just add them to the need to sew the binding down pile!!

Bindings and Church Doings

Well  - I sewed them all by machine but they are all done! How else could I get all four done in one day

Making bread at church.

Another 36 loaves ready to deliver.  We are usually done baking by 11AM and then they cool for a bit before they package them for delivery.

Our VBS starts this week .  It's call Fixer - Upper.

I just love the mural that P ,who heads up our Bread Ministry, made for them.
She used aluminum foil to make the metal parts of the tools.  Very Clever is she!!!
