Productive Wednesday

In the morning I sewed the first row and a half of the Indian Beads top -it took longer than I thought it would.   The quilt will be 90 by 90".

And later in the afternoon I finished quilting the Wheels for Caroline quilt.
I only had about four rows left to do.

Hope to get it trimmed tomorrow before I go to C's house to sew.

Then I loaded this Patriotic Quilt and quilted the first two rows.
I surprised myself by getting in a full day of sewing!

Then up tp the house to read for awhile and watch Jeopardy!

Springtime - Easter 2019

Mario out working on the yard and trimming trees - Me taking way too long to remove layers of pollen from everything on the porches.
Then we had a few storms that washed the pollen from the air - lots of rain and wind but our area escaped any real damage

A Shasta Viburnum raised from a cutting I planted 3 years ago.

When I came home from a beautiful and moving Maundy Thursday Evening Service - the moon was  just rising - impossible to capture the beauty of it  - but at least these pictures can remind me that the best things in life are free for everyone to enjoy.

Sewing Update - April 2019

16 indian bead blocks
I have been sewing on and off on the "Indian Beads" blocks.  At this point I have only 14 more purple blocks to sew.  Then I will be combing them by fours to make the beads.

This is a table runner from a pattern called "Sprockets".  It is a quilt as you go pattern.
It is a sample for Ladybug Quilt Cottage.
I will teach a class for Joyce if there is enough interest in it.

The Scrappy Pinterest Quilt top that I showed at our March Undercover Bee.
I made it 60 by 72"

A fun block to use up string pieces .

This one is a donation quilt top that I made from blocks from Pine Tree.
I won enough blocks to make another one.
Barb B. and I were hostesses at the bee so I gave away the extra patterns that I was given along with the blocks.

I guess I really should think about doing some quilting as the tops are starting to accrue!
