Another Day - Another Quilt Quilted

I don't really have a good name for this quilt but I really, really like it.

Of course all those bias edges were challenging along the sides.
And I thought all the seams would be a problem.

But it looks pretty good from across the room.

Needs a binding  - I'm getting slack about bindings - I used to make a binding when I made the backing.  Now I have several to make.

               **********************************

Well I have all the bindings ready to sew on and I think this is the very first time I've made a beige binding and one from solid beige even - well I did use two shades, very close to each other..

Enjoyed an evening out with the family and this guy who turned 27 on February 27.
We went to St. Roch Oyster Bar in Raleigh - they also serve New Orleans Style food - hence the birthday beignets. Love that caramel sauce!

Little H Quilt an the Neglected Orchid Blooms

I  trimmed the Little H Quilt and it is ready for a binding.
I have thought of making a multicored binding using some of the fabrics from the H's.
That means a treasure hunt!

The backing with all the Boo-boos.

This is a picture from the Bee(before it was trimmed) - a friend is holding it

And the neglected Orchid has re bloomed!

Patriotic Double Four Patch Quilted

This was the first time I've used a 40 weight thread on the long arm.  I really like the looks of the So Fine thread but I didn't have any in blue.
I've had some spools Omni Brand for awhile  - one in cadet blue - and so......... now I have a quilt ready to finish.

It's 64 by 72".
Always a good day when I can say I finished a task.

Quick Little Baby Quilt

What a poor picture on a very dreary day.  This a quilt that can easily be made in a day or two.
Saw pictures of the pattern on Pinterest and later have learn that MSQC sells it under the name Pecking Order.  They use charm packs but I used 4.5 and 2.5 inch squares for mine.
It is 40 by 48 inches.

Had this flannel print from Joann's I could use for the backing.

It looks a lot better when the sun is shining through the windows.
Of all the pictures, this one most favors the real color of the background.

I have already cut the binding from the same pink - so this will make a great donation quilt.
