I added two more full rows t my Indian Beads top.
This month's blocks for Pine Tree - made at the last minute - and I forgot to take them with me to the meeting so I will mail them to the gals who won them. I was sitting next to the lady who won the Kaffe blocks - she gave me her address card so I wouldn't have to even look it up!
We are making a new recipe for our Bread Ministry this quarter. It is pretty simple and we have heard back from some of the recipients.
Brown Sugar Bread
2 eggs
2 cups mik
2/3 cup salad oil
4 cups flour
2 TBSP baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 cups brown sugar
Mix the wet ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients, which have been mixed together also.
Stir just until all the dry ingredients have been moistened and incorporated. Pour into 2 loaf pans that have been sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle with sanding sugar before baking, if desired.
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes.
