Family Fishing Fun on the Eno

Today after a picnic lunch at West Point on the Eno Park in Durham, we learned how to fly fish in the Eno River that runs through Durham.  Where we are standing is only a few hundred feet from the bridge on Roxboro Road.   There were lots of people out enjoying the afternoon with their children and dogs but it never seemed too crowded.
 .

Getting basic instructions on fly fishing from Jim who is a fishing guide.

Marcia caught a small fish immediately. Beginners luck or maybe Jim has been giving her private lessons.

Hannah caught a tree - several times.

Kathy caught two dollars -no kidding she found 2 bucks in the water.

Shelly and Vince entertained Tarifa (Hannah's 4mo. old miniature greyhound).  And also their dog, Charlie (probably in Vince's lap).  We ended our day about 5:30PM as Shane had to drive back to Wilmington.  Can't beat family fun in the sun.
